ARENA COORDINATOR
Duties include:
• Assist Volunteer Coordinator with organizing a group of 5-10 volunteers to help with set up/take down prior to
show
• Check arenas pre-show/make sure rings get dragged on breaks
• Manage set up/take down crews
• Pre-show ring walk through

ARENA CREW (PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU PREFER SET UP OR TAKE DOWN OR EITHER)
Duties include:
• Assist in set up/take downs of arenas at shows

RING STEWARD COORDINATOR
Duties include:
• Trains ring stewards pre-show
• assist Volunteer Coordinator in filing positions

RING STEWARDS
Duties include:
• Minds ring schedule, manages warm-up, bit/whip checks
• There are different shifts to choose from each day of a rated show

SCRIBE COORDINATOR
Duties include:
• Trains scribes pre-show
• assist Volunteer Coordinator in filing positions

SCRIBES
Duties include:
• Transcribe for judges ( A great way to learn/improve tests at all levels!)
• There are different shifts to choose from each day of a show

SCORING ASSISTANTS
Duties Include:
• Tabulates tests, posts scores, pins classes, etc.

RUNNERS
Duties include:
• Transport tests from judges stand to office for scoring.
• Work under the leadership of the volunteer coordinator and head scorer

JUDGE COORDINATOR
Duties include:
• Arrange Judge transfers and airport pick up/drop off
• Work closely with the show manager for judge arrangements
• Plan dinner and lunch schedules
• Provide program/schedule in hotel room
• Judge lunches
• Plan gift baskets and drop off at hotel before Judges arrival

JUDGE COORDINATOR ASSISTANT
Duties include:
• Assist Judge Coordinator in transporting judges (hotel, airport, show) in a timely manner.
• Assist Judge Coordinator with Judge/TD gifts

Many of these volunteer positions can be done by competitors! Remember, volunteers work
on shifts. You can schedule a shift around your ride times. Also keep in minds that many
volunteer positions take place before or after a show
.
