Membership Year is December 1 through November 30.
Benefits of a SLADS Membership:
When you enroll in SLADS, $25 of your membership dues are sent to USDF which registers you as a Group Member and provides eligibility to the following:
- Members are eligible to earn USDF Rider Awards through their local GMO.
- Publications and education: Members receive the USDF Connection magazine and can earn university credits for participating in educational opportunities.
- Event discounts: Members are eligible for discounted rates on USDF events.
- Local and educational activities: GMOs provide information on local dressage events and host USDF-sponsored educational clinics and programs.
- Competition access: Members can compete in USDF-recognized competitions without paying the USDF non-member fee.
- Member perks: Members may also receive discounts with USDF Member Perks partners.
Eligibility for Awards:
SLADS has a year-end awards program for both schooling and recognized shows.

Education:
The SLADS Board offers local educational opportunities for members.
Competitions:
SLADS holds one recognized show per year at The National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, MO.
Local Shows are a great way to stay connected to friends and have lots of opportunities to show. Support local dressage shows, barns and training.
Communication:
SLADS connects its members via our website, including a members-only discussion forum, newsletters and social media to get the latest news on clinicians, education programs, competitions, and services in our local and surrounding areas.
